Expand your apiary with this Honeybee Nucleus Colony package. It includes a queen bee and a small number of worker bees, making it a great option for beekeepers looking to grow their bee population. Each nuc comes with a freshly mated queen*, 5 MEDIUM frames consisting of 2 brood, 2 honey, 1 variable frame (brood, honey, foundation for expansion) and a frame feeder. Conditions dependent, Nucs are expected to be available for pickup in late May. Only 20 are expected to be available, therefore orders will be honored in order of received payment.
* The genetics of our medium nucs Italian and Carniolan mixes that have performed well over time.
If you are exempt from PA Sales Tax you must select the tax exempt option and complete and submit the PA Sales Tax Exemption form to qualify. If you selected tax exempt, and no form is received, 6% sales tax will be due upon pickup.
