Honey Bee Nucs
The following details are specific to orders for honey bee packages, nucleus colonies (“nucs”) and queens. Please read all details carefully.
Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Honey Bee Packages, Nucs, and Queens
Cancellation
No cancellations or refunds will be provided within 20 days of scheduled pick-up date for packages, nucs, or queens. If you would like to reassign your order to another beekeeper within the 20 day non cancellation window, please notify Honey Hill Farm of the change. I will try to assist you in finding a buyer for you to sell your packages, nucs, or queens to. This is not guaranteed of finding a secondary buyer. Honey Hill Farm LLC will not be responsible for the sale or any transfer of funds.

Payments must be received 18 days prior to your pick up date or your order may be placed on a wait list.
Picking Up Bees
To allow for functional vehicular entrance and exit of the 800-foot driveway, a date and time slot will be assigned to you. This will stagger the pickup process. If you cannot pick up your packages, nuc, and/or queens during your time slot or on the pickup date, you must make arrangements for an alternative date and time slot one week prior to the pickup date. A week prior to the pick up date I will probably be on the road getting the bees. Thank you for your understanding.
Pick up dates may be changed or delayed due to the weather and the producer’s needs. We will do our best to communicate that with sufficient notice to permit you to make alternate arrangements. Honey Hill Farm is not responsible or liable for changes in schedule beyond our control.

Note: It is the customer’s responsibility to check the website and verify the pick up date for package bees and nucs prior to departing to pick up honey bees. If you are not able to pick up your order on the scheduled or rescheduled date; consider working with other beekeepers willing to pick up your order for you.
Pick up by someone else: Due to bogus order claims by secondary parties we require that anyone else picking up your bees present a copy of your order form at the time they pick up your bees.
Availability
Packages, nucs, and queens are limited in number and orders are fulfilled on a first- payment received basis. Please take note that tax-exempt customers must mail their completed PA tax exemption certificate at the time of placing their order (see below).
First-Time Beekeepers
If you are a first-time beekeeper and do not feel comfortable installing a package of honey bees or nuc into your hive, contact us in advance of the pickup date to request that we install your packaged bees or nuc in the hive/hives that you bring on the afternoon following the primary pickup date(s). There is a charge of $5 per package nuc for this service to be paid upon installation. Additional instructions will be provided at the time of coordination.
Tax-Exempt Status
If you have tax-exempt status in the state of Pennsylvania, be sure to order the options with tax-exempt pricing. Even if you have done so previously; mail a copy of your REV-1220 tax exemption certificate to Honey Hill Farm, 932 Callowhill Road, Perkasie, PA 18944 at the time that you place your order. If tax exemption forms are not received by the time of pickup; the 6% PA Sales Tax will be applied to your purchase when you or the secondary party picks up the bees.
